In my original letter, I asked if they would simply send me a larger rug in the same style, which they do carry. And it's a standard size, which is why rug pads are made in the same size. Nothing, not one word, was said in the product description about allowing for shrinkage. I wrote a nice letter to the company which replied, over a week later, that the 30 day return period had passed. It is now floating in the middle of the rug pad that previously went underneath it. Imagine my surprise when I put it down the next day only to find that it SHRANK. I brought it home, still damp, and air dried it in our air conditioned home. I washed the rug in cold water at a local laundromat with extra large washers.
